CARMEL – Putnam County Executive Kevin Byrne has named Sara Servadio as commissioner of Mental Health and Social Services replacing the retiring Mike Piazza.
Servadio has been serving as deputy commissioner.
She brings 20 years of experience in case management and the mental health field to her new job.
“I’m committed to ensuring our department remains a steadfast resource for Putnam County residents, said Servadio. She noted there is a lot of work to be done as they transform and expand the services offered, and work to establish a Mental wellness stabilization center.
She said they have already created a position of director of mental health and are establishing a mental health co-response team with the sheriff’s office.
