Sullivan County runs flu shot clinic (VIDEO)

MONTICELLO- The Sullivan County Department of Health (DOH) partnered with Action Toward Independence (ATI) to offer free flu shots ahead of the upcoming flu season to Sullivan County residents.

Jill Hubert-Simon, deputy director of the county’s DOH encourages residents to get a flu shot.  Speaking about flu shots, Hubert-Simon said, “It is really easy prevention.  It is the best way to minimize the signs of flu, and minimize your changes of being in the hospital.

Dr. Bruce Ellsweig, medical director, spoke to the importance of raising the awareness of preventative vaccinations.  He believes that flu shot clinics are important to provide access to healthcare to keep individuals healthy.
