BULLVILLE – Route 17K from Bullville Road to Dickerson Avenue in Bullville was closed to traffic Monday afternoon when an oil slick about a foot wide extended for 1 ½ to two miles long.
Home heating oil could be smelled in the area of the spill.
What caused the spill and what would be done to contain and remediate it was not immediately observed.
