MONTICELLO- Monticello Elks Lodge #1544 gave out over 300 Drug Awareness items on Broadway in Monticello at the Bagel Festival on August 13, 2023.
In addition to coloring books, crayons, and markers, the Elks handed out Xylazine and Fentanyl test strips to interested adults. In 2022, Sullivan County reported 218 overdose incidents, including 24 fatalities.
