HANCOCK – A 40-year-old Livingston Manor man was killed in what police said was an apparent logging accident in Hancock.
Timothy Mills Jr. was working alone in the woods last Tuesday when a tree apparently fell on him, authorities said.
His obituary said the father of six served in the US Army and was a foreman for Laborers Local 17.
He is also survived by his wife, parents, grandmother and siblings.
A Go Fund Me page has been established to help support the family and assist with final expenses.
