YORKTOWN – The State Department of Transportation is advising Westchester County motorists that the Taconic State Parkway northbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 17A (U.S. Route 202/State Route 35) and Exit 19 (State Route 132) in the Town of Yorktown, on Wednesday, October 11, and Thursday, October 12, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., to facilitate pavement repairs, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
