HIGHLAND MILLS – The Woodbury Democratic Committee has endorsed Thomas Burke for town supervisor and Lidice Mendoza and Robert Hunter for two town council seats.
In a separate vote, the committee endorses Tyler Etzel. Jr. for village mayor and Matthew Fabbro and James Freiband for two village trustee seats.
The general election this year will be held on November 7.
Burke, who is the current town supervisor, is seeking a second term. He is following in his father’s footsteps as he, too, served as town supervisor in the past.
Lidice will run as a write-in candidate and Hunter served on the town board in the past.
Etzel served as a Woodbury town councilman before declaring his run for village mayor.
