Hilarie Burton Morgan is a renowned American actress and producer. She first rose to prominence as a VJ on MTV’s Total Request Live.  She gained widespread popularity for portraying the role of high school teenager Peyton Sawyer in One Tree Hill.  Her film credits include the 2005 coming-of-age drama Our Very Own, the 2007 horror film Solstice, and opposite Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Hudson and Queen Latifah in 2008’s The Secret Life of Bees.  She starred in a recurring role as Dr. Lauren Boswell, in the hugely popular medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.  Burton reunited with One Tree Hill co-star Tyler Hilton for a recurring role on CBS sci-fi drama Extant in 2015.  She received praise for her role as Sara Ellis in the TV reboot of the movie franchise Lethal Weapon, in 2017.  Since 2021, Burton has been a co-host on the Drama Queens podcast along with her former One Tree Hill co-stars, Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Lenz.  She is also involved with a number of philanthropic organizations, supporting causes like children’s welfare and the fight against breast cancer. She lives on a working farm in the Hudson River Valley with her partner, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, their son Gus, baby daughter George, and a whole lot of animals.
