GRAHAMSVILLE- More Borscht from a Catskill Mountain Plumber, a talk by Allen Frishman will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Time and the Valleys Museum on St. Rt. 55 in Grahamsville, NY. Join Allen Frishman discussing his new book, More Borscht from a Catskill Mountain Plumber, a continuation of humorous telling of the great times the baby boomer generation had growing up in “The Country”. This was the period of Jewish exodus from city heat to country cool-air. Jewish Lightning, a rare Catskill phenomenon, Mendel’s Mansion, and of course, the Woodstock Festival are included.
The cost of the program is free for members and $5 for non members which includes light refreshments and museum admission. Books will be available for signing and sale.
