GRAHAMSVILLE – It has been a tradition in Sullivan County for 143 years and it is still around – the Little World’s Fair.

“We have one vendor who says that it’s a fair on a hill but we’re on the level,” said fair director Mike Garigliano. “And so, we pride ourselves on being a traditional Little Country Fair.”

Thousands flock to the fair to enjoy all it has to offer, said Jessica Doyle, the general superintendent. “We have a two-hour sensory friendly time for the rides where they’’ be no lights, no music; it’ll just be quiet. The entire fairgrounds kind of stays quiet, so that kids can enjoy the entire fair for two hours without anything over stimulating them,” she said. “There is also live music all weekend long from a lot of local artists, the rides, “and really, really good food.”

The tasty delights include Frank’s French Fries, made by Frank Cuff. He also offers a scholarship. “When my wife died in 2000, we put a $500 scholarship in her name, and it doesn’t have to be somebody that’s a rocket scientist. I like people that work and dedicate to the people who work at the fair. It’s called the Teresa Cuff Scholarship.”

The Little World’s Fair is in full swing all weekend long.
