MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Legislature Thursday approved its county share of the SUNY Sullivan budget in the amount of $4.25 million for the 2023-24 academic year.
The total spending plan is $16.28 million.
The county’s portion is the same amount as last year’s.
In addition to the required funding, this will be the third year that the county will fund its Promise Scholarships “because we believe everyone should have access to a good education,” said Legislature Chairman Rob Doherty.
