KINGSTON- To help families in need prepare for the upcoming school year, Senator Michelle Hinchey’s office is partnering with the Hudson/Catskill Housing Coalition and the Back to School Barbecue in Catskill, to collect essential school supplies for K-12 students.
The Senator’s office is collecting the following items:
- Backpack
- Pens
- Mechanical Pencils
- Dry Erase Markers
- Markers
- Crayons
- Highlighters
- Pencil Boxes
- All Sized Subject Notebooks
- Composition Notebooks
- Loose Leaf Paper
- Binders
- Folders
- Scissors
- Glue Sticks
- Rulers
- Hand Sanitizer
- Tissues

M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Donations will be accepted now through Friday, August 18, 2023 at Senator Hinchey’s Kingston office.
Senator Hinchey’s office will also host a drop-off event in Catskill on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hudson/Catskill Housing Coalition Office (361 Main Street, Catskill, NY 12414). Please be advised that school supplies are being collected and not distributed at this event.
