MIDDLETOWN- SUNY Orange announces its Fall 2023 Encore course offerings. Encore is a non-credit program for adult lifelong learners aged 55 and older residing in the tri-state area.
The courses are short-run offerings ranging from one to four sessions per class held in a combination of lectures or hands-on participation as appropriate. Classes meet at the Middletown campus on varying days beginning September 15, 2023, and throughout September, October, and November.
Health and wellness, art, history, literature, and more are some of the available topics. “Making Movies on Your Mobile Phone” and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) are two exciting examples among this semester’s course selections.
Knowledgeable subject matter experts with a professional background in a field and those who have spent many years studying or teaching a topic are class instructors. They are professors, professor emeriti, financial planners, businesspeople, artists, musicians and other enthusiastic field specialists.
