WASHINGTON – Two additional workshops have been scheduled with Central Hudson to address billing issues. Central Hudson employees will join members of Congressman Pat Ryan’s district office to help with individual customer complaints in one-on-one meetings, including problems with meter reading and estimated billing.

The next workshop will be at Rosendale Library on Tuesday, July 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Customers can sign up using this form.

Ryan’s office will also be hosting a workshop on Thursday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hub at Newburgh Free Library. Customers can sign up for the Newburgh workshop using this form.

The additional dates follow the success of the first workshop held in June, the congressman said.

“We’ve been fighting for over a year to hold Central Hudson accountable and fix these systemic problems. While we’ve made some good progress, too many people are still experiencing issues. These one-on-one sessions are critical to providing relief,” said Ryan. “I will continue pushing on behalf of Hudson Valley families to ensure everyone gets a resolution and is made whole.”

“I jumped at the chance to meet with a Central Hudson representation after spending months last winter trying to get help with a billing issue,” said Kathy Drew, New Paltz resident and attendee of the June workshop. “They were completely professional, answered my questions, took responsibility for the problems I experienced with Central Hudson and followed-up with an email a few hours after our meeting.”
