TOWN OF ULSTER – Thirty-seven-year-old Valerie Eide of Kingston is facing criminal drug charges after Ulster Police found her sitting in her vehicle in a parking lot of a local hotel. Further investigation revealed that Eide was in possession of cocaine.
Ulster Police Chief Kyle Berardi says that his officers responded to a request for a welfare check of a woman in a car at the hotel on July 8, 2023. After officers seized the cocaine from Eide che was taken into custody and charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
She was processed and released with an appearance for a future court date.
