NEW YORK – Dutchess County Legislator Ben Geller (R-Hyde Park) has been appointed chairman of the Board of Advisors of the New York Young Republican Club.  The club claims to be the oldest, founded in 1911.

“Legislator Ben Geller brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role,” according to a statement issued by the organization.  Geller joins fellow board members including Jack Posobiec, Roger Stone, and Tyler Bowyer, in advising Republicans and shaping the club’s policies. “With a proven track record of advocating for Conservative values and promoting the interests of the Republican Party, he (Geller) is well-positioned to guide (the club) in its mission to empower and engage young Republicans in New York and across the nation.”

Geller said he is “committed to empowering young Republicans, fostering a strong sense of community, and championing our shared conservative values.”

The Hyde Park lawmaker mentioned an upcoming endorsement, saying, “I will work arduously to move our mission forward and support our endorsed candidates including President Donald J. Trump.”
