RED HOOK- The Red Hook Rotary Foundation is asking the public to nominate a community member who has gone above and beyond in service to our community.  The individual would exemplify Rotary International’s Motto of “Service Above Self.”  If you know someone deserving of this honor, go to www.redhookrotaryclub.org or www.facebook.com/RedHookRotaryClub and download a nomination form. Red Hook Rotary will decide who the recipient will be based on the information provided on the nomination form.  Multiple nominations for the same individual do not increase their chance of being chosen.

Rotary Club of Red Hook is part of Rotary International.  Rotary is an international service organization comprised of business and professional leaders working together in a variety of humanitarian, educational and cultural programs to promote World Peace and Understanding.  There are over 1.2 million Rotarians in more than 35,000 clubs around the world.

Over 15 years ago, Red Hook Rotarians established The Red Hook Rotary Foundation, a 501 c 3 charitable foundation, to provide financial support of programs and projects in and around the Red Hook community. The focus of the Foundation is in the areas of education and youth. The Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors, supports the Interact Club at Red Hook High School and Rotary’s Youth Exchange Program. In addition, it supports other community programs.

The Red Hook Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. by Zoom or in person at Locavore, 29 West Market Street, Red Hook, New York.  Visit our website for the meeting location and more information.
