Carlos Watterson-Suarez to take part in Envision’s NYFL explore STEM

POUGHKEEPSIE- This summer, Carlos Watterson-Suarez from Poughkeepsie, NY will join outstanding middle school students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic and career oriented development experience, NYLF Explore STEM in Queens, NY.

NYLF Explore STEM is one of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.

Carlos Watterson-Suarez was nominated by his math teacher at Poughkeepsie Middle School.  Carlos strives and excels in math and is excited to have this opportunity to represent Poughkeepsie.  Carlos not only excels in the classroom but also enjoys taking music and karate.  Carlos is looking forward to learning as much as he can to eventually be able to take what he learns to help his community in years to come.
