MONTGOMERY – The low clouds Saturday kept aircraft near the ground and within easy sight range during the first day of the New York Air Show at the Orange County Airport.

Steve Rinaldi, of Westport, Conn., watched the fly through of a F-15 as he waited to see to U.S. Navy Blue Angels flying the F/A-18 Super Hornets during their precision maneuvers.

“That was great, fabulous, wonderful,” said Rinaldi, of the F-15 fly-though.

Rinaldi was in a good mood, wearing a Navy T-shirt. And when asked why he was in attendance, he replied that was enjoying him self and the day.

“You do anything for a woman,” he said, pointing to his female companion. “That why I am here. I am here to enjoy the show.”

The air show included a fly-through with an U.S. Air Force A-10 and other stunt aircraft.

The gates for the show’s second and final day Sunday open at 9 a.m.
