MONROE- State Police have arrested a 23-year-old Town of Monroe man for identity theft and grand larceny, both felonies.
On April 4, 2023, State Police received a complaint about unauthorized charges on several credit cards. The total amount of the transactions was $1,261.
Investigation revealed that Gustavo Gonzalez had a falling out with a friend, allegedly obtained his credit card information and used those cards to make unauthorized purchases.
Gonzales was arrested on May 17, 2023. He was given an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Monroe Court.
