Army National Guardsman arrested for forcible touching

CORTLANDT- A Franklin Square, NY man has been arrested by State Police for two counts of forcible touching.  A lengthy investigation determined that the victim was alleged to have been inappropriately touched by Pablo Rivera on two different occasions in the Town of Cortlandt and the City of Peekskill.

Rivera, 49, was a sergeant 1st class in the Army National Guard at the time of the incidents.

Rivera appeared in Cortlandt Town Court where he was arraigned and released.  He was issued appearance tickets returnable to Peekskill City Court on May 18 and Cortlandt Town Court.

An order of protection was issued for the victim.

State Police believe there may be other victims, and are asking anyone who has information to call 914-788-8044.
