BETHEL- The Sullivan Catskills Visitor’s Association, in partnership with Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, presented a day-long festival celebrating the cuisine of the Catskills and beyond last Saturday.

Attendees traveled from outside the region to sample some of Sullivan County’s rapidly growing culinary scene.  Showcasing local, farm-to-table produce and a wide range of craft beverages, hundreds of local residents and visitors alike enjoyed their time at the festival.

Local farmers, restaurants, chefs, and producers also participated in tastings and demonstrations.  Ayesha Nurdjaja, Executive Chef at Shuka, NYC came to Bethel Woods after hearing about the event from a local chef.  “It’s great to be here with my fellow chefs to share some recipes,” said Nurdjaja.

Roberta Byron-Lockwood, president & CEO of the Sullivan Catskills Visitor’s Association said, “What better place than right here at Bethel Woods?  Fine food, great chefs, wonderful music, family fun–it’s a package that is unparalleled.”
