MID-HUDSON – Police in the cities of Poughkeepsie and Newburgh are investigating shootings that occurred early Saturday morning.
EMS personnel report at about 2:23 a.m. at Montgomery and Market Street in Poughkeepsie, a man sustained a gunshot wound.
Perpetrators fled on foot and the victim was transported to Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
At about 2:51 a.m., a man sustained two gunshot wounds at 423 Broadway in Newburgh. That victim was treated by EMS staff and taken to the hospital.
Police in both cities are looking for possible suspects.
