Unionville man charged with stabbing victim with steak knife

UNIONVILLE – A Unionville man was charged on Wednesday with stabbing another person in the head and face with a steak knife during an altercation at a High Street address in the village.

State Police investigated the 11:45 a.m. incident where they found the victim on the front lawn of the residence being treated by EMS personnel.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Jesse Frank, 37, of Unionville was involved in a verbal and physical altercation with the victim who he stabbed.

The victim was transported to Bon Secours Hospital in Jervis where he was treated and released for minor injuries.

Frank was charged with felony assault and weapons possession and was remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $90,000 bond.
