WHITE PLAINS – Three North Castle residents, who are family members living together, were arraigned on an indictment alleging they illegally possessed 48 guns, including semi-automatic rifles, shotguns, machine guns and a ghost gun, all found in their home.
Theodore Brois, 68, was charged with several counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm for allegedly possessing five or more firearms, possession of loaded assault weapons and 12 counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Brandon Brois, 25, was also charged with several counts of criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly possessing five or more firearms and loaded assault weapons.
He has a prior conviction for criminal possession of a weapon, which prohibits him from legally possessing any firearm.
Helene Brois, 63, was charged with firearms and weapons possession for allegedly possessing five or more firearms and loaded assault weapons.
On January 25, 2022 at about 11:25 a.m., North Castle Police arrested the three who had no permits to legally purchase or possess firearms, and seized 48 guns, which were found in several rooms in the house. At least 15 of the guns were loaded.
“This case is another result of our strong partnership with local police to ensure greater public safety by seizing illegal guns and preventing these deadly weapons from infiltrating our communities,” said District Attorney Miriam Rocah.
