NEWBURGH- April is World Autism Month and Resorts World New York has participated in several events across the state aimed at creating a more diverse, accepting and inclusive community.

Resorts World Catskills (RWC) and Resorts World Hudson Valley (RWHV) donated $2,000 to the Hudson Valley Light it Up Blue celebration on Saturday, April 15, 2023.  They also provided a one-night escape in a luxury suite at RWC to be raffled off during the annual fundraiser.  Proceeds from the event went to Think Different, Orange County, NY.  Its mission is to fulfill the promise of a community where all people can fully participate, are valued for their unique contributions, and can achieve their dreams.

“We are proud to take part in various Autism Month events throughout New York and support the autism community in any way we can by partnering with organizations,” said Meghan Taylor, Vice President, Resorts World New York.  “By understanding and accepting everyone, we can create a more inclusive space for individuals with autism who live and work in our communities.”
