Seven charged with contraband at Greene County state prisons

CATSKILL – Seven people were adjudicated in the month of April in Greene County Court on charges of attempted promoting prison contraband or promoting prison contraband.

Shaquan Jordan, 30, of Brooklyn, entered a plea of guilty to attempted promoting prison contraband. She was sentenced to five years of probation for attempting to bring drugs into Greene Correctional Facility.

Brian Houpe, 34, of Catskill, pled guilty to attempted promoting prison contraband. He will be sentenced at a later date. He possessed a homemade weapon while incarcerated at Greene Correctional Facility.

Nakeema Mott, 29, of Rensselaer pled guilty to promoting prison contraband and will be sentenced at a later date. She was attempting to bring drugs into Coxsackie Correctional Facility.

Bakary Camara, 52, an incarcerated individual, was arraigned on a charge of promoting prison contraband for possessing a homemade weapon while incarcerated at Coxsackie Correctional Facility.

Shaun Worthington, 22, an incarcerated person, was arraigned on a charge of promoting prison contraband for possessing a homemade weapon while imprisoned at Greene Correctional Facility.

Regina Grier, 59, of Albany, pled guilty to attempted promoting prison contraband and was sentenced to five years of probation for attempting to bring drugs into Greene Correctional Facility.
