CARMEL – A Cortlandt Manor man has been arrested by Carmel Town Police on charges that he stalked a local woman at a gym and then outside a grocery store where he allegedly touched her inappropriately.
The woman, who does not know the man, was arrested in April 18 following an investigation.
The suspect, whose name was not released, has been charged with stalking, forcible touching and harassment.
The man was arraigned with a full stay-away order of protection issued by Carmel Town Justice Jacobellis.
The defendant was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
