Stabbing in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – Police in Newburgh are investigating what city officials are calling a laceration, but what first responders at the scene described as a stabbing, Sunday evening.

The incident occurred in an area of the city where drug users are known to frequent, according to officials.

A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing, they said. That individual was last seen wearing a blue ski mask and shorts.
