HURLEYVILLE- The Frederick Cook Society will present an afternoon of sixties and seventies music featuring special guest guitarist Henry Simon.

Henry is a Sullivan West High School student who started playing music at age 9, picked up a guitar at age 11, and at 16, found himself performing in a band with Carol and Aldo Troiani, better now as Little Sparrow.

Playing bass for this new multi-generational super-group will be local artist Jay Brooks.  Jay is also a lifelong musician and freshly retired Monticello High School art teacher, whose paintings have been featured in American Artist Magazine and exhibited extensively throughout the Northeast.

Catch the magic on Sunday, April 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and while you are there, enjoy the photography exhibition by another famous local artist, Dr. Frederick Cook.

The event will be held at the Sullivan County Museum, 265 Main Street, Hurleyville.  Admission is free, donations are welcome, and there will be delicious refreshments!  Call 845-434-8044 for more information, or visit www.facebook.com/littlesparrowny.
