Man arrested in attack with wrench

ROSENDALE – The Rosendale Police Department arrested a Kingston man in connection with an alleged attack on another person with a wrench.

Police said the incident occurred on March 28 and resulted in the arrest of 36-year-old Ammad Khan.

He was arrested after officers responded to a dispute in which he allegedly struck another person in the head with a wrench.

Kahn was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, arraigned and released pending a future court appearance.

The victim was transported to HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston for treatment of his injuries.
