BEDFORD – A male nurse at the women’s Bedford Hills Correctional Facility has been charged with rape for allegedly sexually assaulting an inmate, State Police said.
Michael Adeleke, 54, of Waterbury, Connecticut was arrested following an investigation by the State Police, State Department of Correctional and Community Services, and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office
Adeleke was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
He was arrested on March 1.
