COPAKE – Twenty-two-year-old Steven Kipp was arrested by the State Police on February 22, 2023, on two felony counts of disseminating indecent material to minors and misdemeanor sexual abuse.
After receiving a law enforcement tip from another police agency, the State Police began investigating possible sex crimes against a child in the town of Copake in January 2023. The investigation determined Steven Kipp sent indecent material and sexually abused a child under the age of 15.
Kipp was arraigned in the town of Copake Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail.
