Tactical training with multiple agencies at USMA.
WEST POINT – Military Police at West Point trained late last week with West Point Professional Firefighters and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on movement and tactics to counter an active threat while also protecting the first responders rendering medical aid.
Officials said the training enables the “Knights of Justice” to be better prepared to protect the installation and integrate the academy’s response with external agencies.
There have been a number of active threats at public schools, colleges, and other venues in recent days and police agencies around the country have been redoubling their training and security to protect their communities.
