MIDDLE HOPE – A 29-year-old woman has been charged with several crimes after her car crashed into Mary Jane’s Dairy Bar on Route 9W in Middle Hope just before 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Town of Newburgh Police charged Shayane Reynolds with driving with a suspended license, which was revoked for a prior DWI, DWI, three counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and several vehicle and traffic violations.

She was treated and released at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.

After being charged, Reynolds was released on an appearance ticket pending a future court appearance.

The ice cream stand was closed for the winter. It typically reopens for the summer in March.
