MONTICELLO – The Monticello varsity wrestling team competed in the Bulldog wrestling tournament at Beacon High School on Jan. 21st.
Monticello senior Jesse Corces finished 1st in the 285-pound weight class, and senior Irvin Oestrich finished 3rd in the 172-pound weight class.
Other notable finishes included:

- Jeffery Ruiz, 5th place (102 pounds)
- Scott LaRusso, 6th place (110 pounds)
- Kenji Rodriguez, 6th place (118 pounds)
- Matt Finnerty, 6th place (160 pounds)
