WHITE PLAINS – A Dobbs Ferry man has been indicted by a Westchester County grand jury charging him with assaulting two 15-year-olds in September.

Vincent Pappas, 62, was charged with four counts of assault, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail on Wednesday, December 28.

It is alleged that on September 29 at about 5:35 p.m., Pappas threw one of the teens through a storefront window on Main Street in Dobbs Ferry.

The victim was transported to the hospital where he was treated for a punctured lung, a cervical spine fracture, and several lacerations. It is also alleged that he assaulted the second teen during the incident and that he resisted arrest as police placed him into custody.

Dobbs Ferry Police arrested him shortly after the incident.
