ESOPUS – Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 31-year-old Eddyville man on an assault charge for allegedly kicking a person down a flight of stairs.
The incident occurred at 5 p.m. on December 24 at an address on New Salem Road in the Town of Esopus.
The victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Alkebulan Ladson was charged, an order of protection was issued, and he was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by State Police, Town of Esopus Volunteer Ambulance Squad, and Mobile Life Support.
