Residents welcome the arrival of the wreathes to Goshen on Wednesday

GOSHEN – The national program that pays homage to Orange County veterans who have passed on will continue its annual tradition of placing wreathes on every one of the 3,000 graves at the county veterans cemetery in Goshen.

A giant truck from Wreathes Across America rolled into the village on Wednesday in preparation for Saturday’s placement at every grave.

Dozens of local residents lined the route of the truck and police caravan that brought the wreathes to the cemetery.

The wreathes will be placed at the graves starting at noon on this Saturday.
