Residents injured jumping out of burning home

WURTSBORO – A number of people sustained injuries as they jumped from a burning residence at 55 Gumaer Falls Road in Wurtsboro Monday morning.

At least one person sustained burn injuries, fire officials said.

The two-alarm fire brought out volunteer firefighters from area departments to quell the flames on the log cabin.

The cause is under investigation.
