Man shot in New Rochelle took three slugs, police say

NEW ROCHELLE – The man who was shot early Tuesday afternoon in New Rochelle, was wounded by three bullets, police said Thursday.

The 22-year-old victim, who had recently moved from Mount Vernon to New Rochelle, remains in the hospital in stable condition, police said.

The suspect fled in a dark colored sedan and detectives believe there were several people in the vehicle.

New Rochelle detectives are asking for anyone with information about the incident to call them at 914-654-2300.
