The adage that every vote counts was never truer than in the race for the 99th State Assembly District as Democrat Christopher Eachus garnered 18,000 and Republican Kaitlyn Luciani polled 17,981 votes.

In the 98th District, incumbent Republican Karl Brabenec defeated Democrat Bruce Levine by a 60.01 percent to 33.68 percent margin.

In the 100th District, incumbent Democrat Aileen Gunther defeated Republican Lisa LaBue by a 54.62 percent to 42.08 percent margin.

In the 101st District, Brian Maher, a Republican, polled 60.19 percent of the votes to Democrat Matthew Mackey’s 36.18 percent.

In the 103rd District, Democrat Sarahana Shrestha defeated Patrick Sheehan by a 58.70 percent to 38.21 percent margin.

In the 105th District, Republican Anil Beephan, Jr., defeated Democrat Jill Fieldstein by a 58.90 percent to 38.57 percent margin.

In the 106th District, incumbent Democrat Didi Barrett outpolled Republican Brandon Craig Gaylord by a 52.78 percent to 44.86 percent margin.
