CITY OF HUDSON – A 52-year-old Hudson man was arrested late Monday afternoon for allegedly stabbing his landlord at a residence on the 200 block of Columbia Street.
Chief L. Edward Moore said it appears that an argument over possession of a TV remote precipitated the incident.
Randy Shook was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon – one count for a previous conviction and another for intent to use a weapon, and menacing.
Shook allegedly stabbed the landlord, who sustained a small laceration to his left forearm. He was treated by Greenport rescue.
A knife was recovered at the scene.
Shook was remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
