WHITE LAKE – A 21-year-old New York City woman, who was with her brother and uncle at White Lake on Sunday, August 28, has died, State Police confirmed.
Nasrin Amin, 21, died at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, police said.
Her brother, Basir Amin, 18, died the day after the incident and their uncle, Afrid Haider, 34, died at Garnet Health Medical Center Catskills the following Tuesday.
The three had been with family and Basir Amin had apparently taken a walk along the shore and fell into a deep portion of the lake. His sister and uncle attempted to rescue him, and a local man went in water and pulled all three out.
