Two arrested in Catskill robbery

CATSKILL – State Police have arrested a man and woman in connection with a home invasion robbery at a residence on Jefferson Heights in the Town of Catskill.

The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. on September 1.

The victim told police he was struck in the face by a man later identified as Clyde Wilburn, 48, of the Village of Catskill who was with a woman, Jessica Collazo, 32, from the Town of Catskill.

It is alleged that the two robbed the man of his cell phone, $12 in cash, his state ID card, bank card, and Medicare card.

The victim was then forced to take Collazo to an ATM and withdraw $540 from his account. Collazo then gave the victim back his cell phone and left with Wilburn.

On September 2, troopers located Collazo and charged her with robbery. She was arraigned and remanded to the Greene County Jail.

The following day troopers located Wilburn at the Catskill Inn and charged him with robbery as well. He was also remanded to the county jail.
