MONTGOMERY – The famed Goodyear Blimp was staged at Orange County Airport on Wednesday.
This is not the first time it has been to the Hudson Valley, having flown here in the past when there are sporting or other major events in the metropolitan area.
The blimp has been in operation since 1925.
It is 247 feet long, weighs 15,800 pounds and seats two pilots and 12 passengers.
Maximum speed for the Goodyear blimp is 75 mph.
