Michigan man killed in Stormville motorcycle accident

STORMVILLE – A 51-year-old Michigan man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding ran off Route 216 in Stormville, East Fishkill Police reported.

Officers were called to the scene shortly after 12 noon on Saturday, August 13, where they found the unresponsive man who was pronounced dead.

Police said a preliminary investigation revealed the rider was traveling north on Route 216, lost control as he approached Phillips Road and slid across the southbound lane and off the road.

Police did not release the name of the victim.

If anyone has information or witnessed the accident, police ask them to call them at 845-221-2111 and speak to Officer Grove or Officer Mullaney.

East Fishkill Police were assisted by the East Fishkill Fire Department and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
