DOBBS FERRY – A Brooklyn man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old victim. The investigation by the State Police and the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center resulted in the arrest of 53-year-old Charles Barbaro in Dobbs Ferry on July 7.
State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Barbaro on the felony charge of criminal sexual act.
The investigation determined Barbaro sexually assaulted a victim under the age of 13-years-old.
Barbaro was arraigned before the village of Dobbs Ferry Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
He is next scheduled to appear before the court on July 14 at 10 a.m.
