WHITE PLAINS – A Bronx man who aimed a loaded gun at his girlfriend while at her home in Yonkers was sentenced in Westchester County Court to three-and-a-half years in state prison.

Jose Ramos, 48, was also sentenced to five years of post-release supervision.

Ramos had pled guilty to two felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon.

On October 7, 2021, at about 12:15 a.m., he aimed a loaded gun at the victim’s head in her home. During the incident, she texted a friend who called the police.

Yonkers Police arrested Ramos shortly after the incident and seized the gun and a switchblade knife from him, District Attorney Miriam Rocah said.
