CORNWALL – The Town of Cornwall is being featured in an episode of HGTV’s Home Town Kickstart. The new show is a spinoff of the Home Town series hosted by husband and wife Ben and Erin Napier of Laurel, Mississippi.

Over 5,000 communities applied for the show with only six chosen.

The episode titled “Upstate Update in Cornwall,” features Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent of the Nate & Jeremiah Home Project.

The focus of the work is on Main Street, with all the renovations on or close to Cornwall’s central downtown area.

The projects included renovating a Main Street boutique, working with local leaders to create a town square-style space, and updating a family’s home.

“Cornwall’s community wellbeing and a vibrant Main Street are closely connected,” said Town Supervisor Josh Wojehowski. “The Hometown Kickstart episode lets the world know what locals have always known, Cornwall is a perfectly situated small town tucked between the Hudson Highlands and the Hudson River,” the lifelong town resident said.

The show will air on Sunday, May 22 at 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 25 at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 29 at 5 p.m., and Wednesday, June 15 at 1 p.m.

The show is also available to stream on Amazon Prime and Discovery+.
